from 127 reviewsReally nice people to deal with I can tell they really care. I have reached out to them several times for tech support and have been very responsive to me. Looking forward to building my system bigger with Calpha. Thank you Calpha team !
I have purchased two of these kits now and they work amazing. One is on a shed and one is on a camper so nothing huge with constant use but 2 batteries charge just fine and has been able to keep everything going that I need. Easy to hook up as they have it all labeled.
I have an older version of this inverter that always had a flicker from the light bulbs. I bought a Meanwell inverter that solved the problem but it died after three years. I bought this one and as far as I can tell there is zero flicker. They must have improved the part that creates the sine wave. The rest of the features have always been good. The setup is important, but once you get it dialed in to your needs, it just works.
I develop an issue with this inverter, after contacting Tech support. The issue was identified to be one of the cooling fans not functioning properly. They sent me a pair of fans free of charge and now my inverter is up and running once more.
Running for a week and half have my little setup about 25kwh in Nmc and 20kwh in lifepo4 love these inverters
Work excellent
Using this hybrid inverter as part of a backup system for when our utility shuts the power off, and it has performed very well. To get some ROI on the investment, we wanted it to power some appliances during the day and especially during 5-8 pm when our rates are the highest, and switch back to grid power when the battery dropped below 75% so that we have some backup for lights and electronics if we needed it. We were able to set it up to do just that, hence the 5 stars.
I have been running it for a week now. No issues works as advertised. If I have any problems I will update the review.
The panels are great despite being damaged during shipping.
I run the 2 panels into a Bluetti EB55 and provides more than enough wattage to power my BougeRV cooler/ fridge.
We use this panel to keep our RV batteries charged. We have a motorhome and a hunting camp trailer so we set each up with a standard electrical duplex outlet wired to each coach battery. Then we set the panel up from the controller to the battery with a standard three prong cord plug. From there we can deploy this panel anywhere we wish using regular extension cords of whatever length needed to keep the panel in the most direct sunlight. Works great.
After seeing how it worked I purchased this Calpha panels. One panel with the same power so it's way more convenient. And 30a controller vice the 10a I had. The literature says not for lithium battery but the controller has a setting for lithium, go figure. I'm using this with a DIY portable solar generator that has a 100ah lifepo4 battery and a 1000w pure sine wave inverter for a tertiary power backup. I still have to come up with a better stand for the panel but this was still the best value by far.
This is currently running my farm house, it's got a lot of built in options so you can really do anything you want with all the different ways to use this thing..
I get so much more energy from this panel than I do from my regular panel, the price was great, I will buy more of these!
It was easy to install and works like a charm. Is you have a well pump that's electric and your electric goes out you have no water so we installed solar power so we will always have water no matter if the electricity is out or not. Great investment.
Well built and protected from scratching (plastic corners and protective film on the metal) , came with a manual with specs and a better than expected solar controller.
Tested it inside the patio door screen side not the brightest direct sun light and it seemed to work well and replenished the battery quickly.
